The Invitation Newsmagazine
is Jacksonville’s only politically
minded, but community focused newsmagazine. This FREE
PUBLICATION is printed monthly and is distributed
throughout Jacksonville. The purpose of the magazine is not
to try to convince anyone that one political party is better
than the other, but to simply provide the tools for the
understanding of our political system and it's importance so
our readers can (and will) make an informed, educated
choice.
Along with local, state, and federal political information,
The Invitation Newsmagazine, features articles on
history, science, and poetry. We also feature an
“Edutainment” section which is an actual lesson plan on the
political system with that links to comments, questions and
further discussion to our
Political Forum.
The Invitation Newsmagazine also proudly features two high
school seniors that are excelling academically (“Featured
Student” section). We include a photo spotlight and
interview to show our appreciation for each selected
student. This is not just for the honor roll students, but
also for any student that was failing or on the verge of
dropping out and has turned his/her life around for the
better. They need recognition also!
